Bailey grew up on the South Coast of Newfoundland in Harbour Breton, spending most of her time outside hiking and swimming. From a young age, she was active in various sports and developed a passion for volleyball, weightlifting, and yoga. Growing up as an athlete, she appreciates the importance of physical fitness and rehabilitation therapy in elite sports performance.

Bailey graduated from Eastern Academy in 2018 with a diploma in Massage Therapy with an honours distinction, and is currently a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland, Newfoundland Massage Therapy Association and the Canadian Sport Massage Therapy Association.

Bailey’s passion for human movement and sports performance has led to her current enrollment in the Bachelor of Kinesiology program at Memorial University; following this, she plans to continue to pursue a career in Sports Medicine.

Throughout her education and career as a Massage Therapist, Bailey has volunteered with athletes in gymnastics, soccer, basketball, and volleyball. Bailey is also a coach with the Special Olympics local swimming program.

In her free time, Bailey enjoys spending time outside on walking trails, hiking, working out, and playing her guitar and singing. Bailey is very passionate about health and wellness for both physical and mental health, and she is so excited to share her passion with the team and clients at Attain Physiotherapy & Sport Performance Centre!

Sarah received her registration from the CMTNL in 2016. She is currently in good standing and an active member of the CMTNL as well as the NLMTA.

Her experience has been working in multidisciplinary settings with Athletic Therapists, Physiotherapists, Acupuncturists, and Chiropractors. Sarah has been helping patients reach their rehabilitation goals for 8 years.

With treatment specialization in: - Sports injuries - TMJ Dysfunction - Prenatal

Sarah has a love for sports and has worked with many sports teams and associations such as St. John’s Ice Caps, high-performance program with HockeyNL, U15AAA St. John’s Hitmen, MUN Varsity, NLVA, and NLBA.

Bethany graduated from Academy Canada in 2019 with a diploma in Health & Human Sciences, and is currently a member in good standing with CMTNL & NLMTA.

With her competitive athletic background, Bethany knew Sport Massage was going to be the focus of her career. After her completion of the Sport Massage Therapy certification, Bethany became trained in the prevention and rehabilitation of injuries to muscles, bones, joints, concussion recognition, management and safe return-to-play protocols.

Bethany has gained experience throughout her career by using her skills and knowledge to provide proper treatment to athletes performing a variety of sports, ranging from amateur and recreational athletes to professionals.

Through personal experience, Bethany understands the process of sport injury rehabilitation, as well as the progression required to reach a athletic goals. She uses her vast understanding of specific sports to provide the most effective treatment plan for her patients.

Jeff graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree with honors. Jeff then attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, where he completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.

Outside of the clinic, Jeff serves as the Physiotherapist/Trainer for the Pinnacle Growlers AAA U18 team and the Islanders high performance baseball program.

With his heavy involvement in sport and athlete rehabilitation, Jeff has become versed in advanced techniques, including:

Acupuncture Dry needling Sport Physiotherapy Canada fundamentals training Mike Reinold’s Advanced Examination and Treatment of the Shoulder Concussion Rehab Works Level 1 & 2 Advanced Physical Therapy Institute Elbow, Wrist, and Hand complex.

Certified as a Champion Performance Specialist, allowing him to conduct Performance Assessments on athletes to identify deficits in movement, aimed at reducing risk of injury through individualized treatment plans.

In addition, he has also virtually attended the 2020 American Sports Medical Institute’s Injuries in Baseball Conference, where he continued to learn and enhance his skills related to baseball rehabilitation.

Jeff utilizes hands-on proven methods of treatment with many elite athletes within the province, aiding in their athletic success on the provincial, national, and international stage.

Jeff founded Attain Physiotherapy & Sport Performance Centre with the goal of providing an appropriate environment for athletes to rehabilitate injuries, train at an elite level, and develop their performance to achieve their goals and prevent injuries.
